This Riku is a cynical one, choosing to stay alone than be with a group, also choosing to stay awayfrom crowds and group events (sports, etc). There are only certain people RikuTwo can trust, such as family, though he treats his brothers like victims at times, playing friendly pranks or downright insulting them to get a rise out of them. All in all, RikuTwo truly loves his brothers, and would do anything for them if something were to happen. But it is incredibly rare for him to feel the same way about any other person. He usually pushes other people away, choosing ultimately to be alone.

HISTORY:

RikuTwo was born three minutes after Riku was, rendering his parents shocked. He was one of the rare occurences where he somehow hid behind his twin during ultrasound viewing, and his heartbeat was in fact weaker than his brother’s, which masked his completely. After his birth, his parents were so flustered, they gave him the name Riku as well, except adding the middle name “Two”, which is what he went by for the first seven years of his life. During these years, he was quieter and less involved than his brother, being the ‘quieter’ one of the two. Even so, he was just as caring and friendly as his twin, going as far as being called a ‘mirror image’ or ‘replica’ of the first born.
When he was seven, however, there was an event that would change his life forever.
He was on an outing with his parents, and his brother, having a picnic in a type of nature reserve. “Two” had gotten distracted, and wandered off, slipping and rolling down a hill, knocking himself unconscious as he reached the bottom. After several hours, he had awakened, dizzy, and lost, not able to remember which direction he came from. He wandered for hours, scared, alone, and wondering if his family was looking for them. Eventually, he broke down, curling up under a tree and staying there, frozen in despair.
He was found by authorities, having wandered away almost ten miles away from where the picnic was held. Catatonic, he didn’t know he had been rescued until he had awakened in a hospital, bandages around his head, and finding it difficult to remember things from the previous years.
He was never the same.
He became mildly depressed at what happened, and held a grudge against his parents for ‘abandoning him’, though, these feelings conflicted with the obvious love he felt for them. He took out this frustration on his brother, and they grew distant as a result. He had spent the next few years staying alone, not involving himself with anything but his books, or his hobby of baking, to try to keep his mind working so he wouldn’t forget anything important.
