Laynee is a very sweet little girl that tends to put others over herself. Unless they are trying to use her brother then the more protective aggressive side shows. After he went blind she won't let anyone get too close to him unless she knows the motives they have. If they seem to want to hurt her then well she'll just pull them away. Give them a lecture or lead her brother the opposite direction.

She can seem more innocent then she might actually be, she tries to keep up that happy appearance. Always making people laugh or smile with the random things she does. Unlike her brother Laynee randomly just talks about things. Even if it doesn't make sense to someone else. She has a habit of rambling excitedly. Mostly if it's something she likes, or she did really well on a test.

Her brother is the one she usually runs too for that. But this girl can also be independent she doesn't need to cling to Quin. She's just that protective of him. Giving him freedom but not too much if she is given a reason to worry which for him she does that a lot. Laynee has a high level patience that comes from helping her brother after he became blind.

She doesn't really think about herself often so it's hard to sometimes get her to focus on her needs. Even if she knows one can't always help everyone she won't give up.

HISTORY:

Born to a family that a strong connection with the Spirit of Nature. Laynee is the second child, a few years younger then her older brother Quin. She didn't ask about her father, only questioning why mother pushed her brother so hard. It wasn't like the girl knew anything about that since it never happened to her. In the young girl's mind it was all too much. So what if father ever came back Quin didn't need to have school, and that training stress on him either.

She focused on her school, getting help from her brother mostly. Most of her subjects except for a few were easy for her so she always snuck into his room. Waiting for him if he wasn't there just to help her. They didn't get to spend all that much time together or at least she didn't think so. But Laynee enjoyed what little time they had. Kept oblivious to most of what happened to her brother.

It was probably just better for the young girl. She only became exposed to it in a strange manner. Her mother had been running out of the house and Laynee followed. Sneaking after her to attempt to get her brother out as well. She tried to go in there but couldn't go too far. It worried her but the fear took over Laynee. Dark was not something she liked, he would understand that she hoped.

She waited for what seemed like hours. Running towards her brother to tackle him when he came out of there. But something was wrong and she couldn't put her finger on it at all. Laynee could only cry knowing her brother couldn't see but she would help him. However she could. Keep people that would use him away seeing as in he was now blind. People had a habit of taking advantage of those kind of people.

Laynee didn't like the plan of leaving to go to another school but they had no choice. The night they were supposed to leave they came back to the house burning. It was gone. Her father had come back, to do what? Chase them out so he would know where they were. No time to think of that they had to go to Etandra. The new school her mother would be teaching at.

She is a first year at the school only because of when her birthday is. She keeps her eyes trained on her brother but also enjoying the life away from her father they have.
