Io is an odd young woman, she receives everyone in a cool fashion that is rivaled by very few, to her your status, your name, your title, whatever you have going for you doesn't matter, because you live and breath just like everyone ones and you'll die like them too.

When ending an association - she tends to stop all communication without explanation because she doesn't see the need to explain herself or for anything to continue. She has level emotions, does not care what people think, does not fit in most of the time because people find it difficult to read her and she's uninterested in leadership instead leaving her brother to do all the work.

Io is not impressionable because she's stubborn enough to stick to what she believes in and not budge on the matter unless given a damn good reason to do so. Otherwise you're wasting your time and hers and she'll kick you straight to the curb in an instant.

Above all else she's not open about her own feelings because she doesn't see the need to express them to people who're in a school, that is what this is, a school, when she leaves she probably won't see any of these people again and she intends to keep it that way.

Ip is what most would call... Ice Cold. You get one chance to be her friend, if you stab her in the back and betray her, she won't bother with you at all any more. She won't feel sympathy for you and she won't listen to your apologies, after all a person should THINK before they do something and unless they are so pathetic that they cannot do that? Then she doesn't see any reason to give them sympathy. It is their own fault.

She never truly says what she means but she doesn't lie either, is calm, is collected and she may flirt yes but this is to simply see what people will do if she does. If they gawk, if they try their luck? Then they're not worth her time. She does not like being chased. She uses her title as princess in much the same fashion.

She will also use someones words against them at a later date if necessary to get what she wants out of a situation.

Now despite all of this, at her core, she is a nice person, if you can get her to show it or are around at the times when she shows it? Then you'll see that she isn't what meets the eye at all.

HISTORY:

Brought up in the royal palace of Yaevash most of Io's life has been lived in captivity where she wanted nothing more but to escape. She hated the castle with a passion because she had no friends and only family to associate with. This entrapment has turned her in to a rather cold and bitter person. It didn't help when humans attempted to shoot her down for her plumes when she took flight and tried to escape over the castle walls.

Now she dislikes people for it. The culprits were executed yes but now her trust for humans as a whole and even those who aren't human has suffered for it. She doesn't see any good in them, she doesn't see any point to their existence and though there are a handful that are kind hearted that is all it is. A handful. A pointless waste of space. At least.... That's how she views them currently.

Seeing her dislike for being trapped in the castle walls, her parents agreed to send her to the academy in Etandra so that she can see the world for herself and perhaps her judgements of people will change. They hope that her judgements will change. They really do however with her lack of interest in leading people, they're having to keep her brother back in Yaevash to learn the ways of leading.

Now that she's here at the academy however, she knows she probably won't make any friends, but friends isn't what she's here for. She's here to learn. So that is exactly what she plans on doing before she returns home after the next three years.

EXTRAS:

She has a rather deep streak of masochism but, she thinks that sometimes, she deserves the pain.

Her mother is an icebird her father a firebird (not a phoenix, though he has the rejuvination ability of one as does her mother) she is a cross between the two with vibrant red and blue plumes when she actually uses her true form. However she can switch between the two looks and elements.

Her application for the academy simply states she is a half breed.
