A refined, serious youth, with formal body language and gestures, Naoto tends to ignore and even shun admirers and classmates. Her only wish is to solve the cases she is involved in, even if it's just to get the truth. She is known to express interest, though it can seem to be in the person when it is really in a case or something odd about that person. So she tends to have that ability of leading people on, even if she really doesnt' know it. Naoto tends to chastise certain people's effort, deeming what they do as nothing more then a little 'game'.

She might seem a bit fearless, as shown when she puts herself in danger to make sure they catch the person responsible for any crime or case she is involved in. Naoto, despite the professional personality, is actually a workaholic who chooses to ignore the police department's advice and work alone. As such, Naoto is often deemed a kid trying too hard by the officers. Naoto tends to get very jumpy, even just plain denying the fact that she is infact female. She wants to keep it to herself, and would rather have no one figure it out.

Though if they do, she just denies it and walks away as if trying to escape that conversation. Naoto's Shadow represents Naoto's resentment towards being treated like a child and not taken seriously. It can also be something of a split personality, as it can talk seriously one minute, and act helpless and innocent the next, similar to how the Wheel of Fortune may act unpredictably. Naoto later reveals that her parents are detectives as well, but were both killed in one of their investigations.

However, Naoto acknowledges her parents' passion of their job, and wishes to become a "hard-boiled" detective, inheriting the title of 'Shirogane', but as long as she herself is a girl, she can never achieve her dreams. In spite of her extremely masculine personality she is a bit self-conscious of her body as she refuses to wear a swimsuit and immediately steals her physical examination results so no one else sees them. Whether this out of pure fear, or just her wanting to keep her being female a secret still has yet to be seen.

She tends to mix up her passion of investigating cases for the truth with investigating for the sake of the Shirogane name. Though after a certain time she actually realizes that she originally did this for the truth not her family name. Naoto herself willingly and passionately inherits her family business of becoming a detective, whether to please herself or her parents is not something she will actually talk about.

HISTORY:

Naoto lives in Inaba, after losing her parents at a very young age she had to grow up pretty fast. Being the descendant of a famous detective lineage she tends to wear masculine clothes and speak of a deeper voice. The child even though she's of young age tries to live up to the family name and maybe improve the reputation a little bit. Even from that young age this girl had plans to be the detective she always wanted to be. Not thinking about anything else what was the point, a goal was all she needed to think of. And being who she was it was all she would end up focusing on for years.

Trying to gain the respect of people around her, she worked harder then most. Working along those other detectives...no matter how much they looked down on her. Though she kept her male appearance because of the pressure of people around her, mostly her supposed co workers. Her first appearance in investigating a case, she tends to express interest in cases that can be mistaken for interest in others which is what happens with this case. It all seemed to start changing with the appearance of a new student, Yu Narukami. She only believed they were treating things like a game, and that it wouldn't have life or death consequences for anyone.

Not that she was truly any better, she could also be treating it like a game without realizing it. Running into Yu brought her to Igor...and this mysterious power that she was given, or was it her destiny. Not that it was something she truly believed in either way. Shortly after this she transferred to a new school, more of for case work. She told herself it wasn't because people she called her friends were going there. With work there was little time for things like that.

Working to pay for things she needs, as well as trying to keep up with her grades. This girl is a busy person..maybe someone can get her to relax a little hm? Not like the world is going to end yet or anything.

EXTRAS:

Naoto is the holder of the Fortune Arcana Card, she can summon her other self or Persona with this card. Usually to help her when she needs it the most, though she's stubborn most of the time. Like her friends she keeps a pair of glasses with her that allows her to see clearly through things mostly the Fog. Here's to wondering how the new school goes and hopefully she won't need either of those things at all right?
