- Plays the flute rather well considering she's not had formal lessons.

- Phantom Pains: These always happen when she eats, echoes from the past she had been through.
- Dealing with what's right and wrong for most people, she's not really learned with that sort of thing.

Ivy's early childhood was full of nothing but pain and abuse from her parents. She would be used as a little test subject for all the little devices that they made to keep half breed creatures under control, even the ones meant for full breed monsters. And she was just a normal little girl, one born to the wrong parents, but a normal girl nonetheless. And because of this, her body became heavily scarred and marred with burns, whip lashes, cuts, bruises, electrical burns, and things of the like from all of the things that were tested upon here. And this was all before the age of four.

They would always bring out the new things to test on her when she was eating, and thus even to this day the thought of food always triggers her to feel the pain of all that had happened to her, and even when she eats in peace, she'll whimper and flinch from the pain that isn't happening, but in her mind it is. However, she was freed from this when she was four years old. One of the things her parents were experimenting on managed to break free and cause a fire to breakout, killing her parents, and then orphaning her.

Though this wasn't a blessing either, in fact it was harder, because she had no roof over her head and she had to depend on the kindness of other people just to survive, getting odd jobs when she was old enough, and always dealing with being called ugly and disgusting because of all the scars on her body. It was because of all of this that she tried to bury her true self under whatever the people around her would want her to be. And that was something that would continue to this day. Having used all the money she saved up from the odd jobs, she actually paid her way into the academy, though she was rather clueless to many things, but at least now she might have a shot at normal life. ...Maybe.
