Taika is a bubbly bundle of energy just about anywhere she goes. Her face is nearly always smiling, the main thing people think of whenever people mention her name, which goes well with her complete optimism. There's barely anything that could get her down, which can either rub off on others or rub them the wrong way. Let's face it, you can't please everybody, but that's never stopped her from trying to get others to smile. Of course, whether or not she takes this for granted is left up to the people she's around.

Still, Taika's not a complete airhead. She takes her studies seriously and can often times be completely engrossed in a topic to a point where one can dump a bucket of ice down her back and she wouldn't flinch until she was out of thought... but still give a reaction as if it just then happened. It's best just to wave a hand in front of her face to bring her back to reality as it normally works. In the end though, she always more then willing to join someone for some fun.

She normally acts friendly towards everyone, but the people Taika considers friends herself are the people she has an unwavering loyalty for. Suddenly become an outcast? She's the one draping an arm over their shoulders. Convicted for a crime? She'll be their personal lawyer if need be. About to get shot? She'll push them out of the way and take the bullet herself. A friendship built in her is strong from the get-go.

HISTORY:

Taika has little memory about her parents. The best she could tell someone about family would be the ones she has now, meaning her Aunt and her sister. Since she was five, the regular routine would be getting up in the mornings, when she had to go to school, going there, coming home with her Aunt leaving for work, and spending the rest of the day with her sister Satu. Because their Aunt often worked late nights, Satu was the only real company Taika had, besides the stuffed toys. Still, she enjoyed having her sister, even if they did have to typical squabble like most siblings do.

As she grew, the girl had an outlook that was considered strange given what everyone else knew. As time went by, Taika became more optimistic about life. Even when she turned eleven and was told that her parents were killed in an air plane crash, she was a little hurt, but she kept focus on the positives, the plus side being that she still had her sister and aunt with her. Although, even to this day, people wonder if she's just bottling up deeper emotions.

She was good at school, but as her interest focused on things other than the basic subjects, such as magic, her Aunt sought to transfer her to KCA as she knew they offered the very things she wanted. When Taika was told about this, she was beyond 'as giddy as a school-girl'. A chance to learn beyond the norm was a chance she didn't want to pass up.

EXTRAS:

Her glasses are technically only reading glasses, but she's grown so used to them that they're more of a fashion for her than anything.
