Brief Description:

A small girl with short, purple hair styled in a "pineapple" similar to Mukuro's. She has violet eyes but one was covered by a black eye patch with a chrome-colored skull due to an injury that caused her to loose her right eye. She is usually seen wearing the green Kokuyo Middle-school uniform; accessorized with her eyepatch, a black belt, and black boots, all with a chrome-colored skull, reflecting her name. Other times she is seen in the Shimon and Vongola uniforms. Her clothes do not change when she arrives in the new world.

Though her hair is a bit longer because the young girl hasn't been able to cut it. She has her old school uniform that is a sailor like suit but it is left at home hidden from everyone. Her future self let her hair grow back longer with her bangs being short but off to the right side. Chrome had her bangs even shorter and still retained a "pineapple" hairstyle with her longer hair look. She also had a different styled eye patch with stars on it.

As Nagi she was antisocial, she never opens up to anyone except Mukuro, the first person who accept her as she is, and always gets confused and shy when someone is kind to her since she had never imagined that her existence could be accepted by people. Because of this people sometimes can't be honest with her and think of her as pitiful. Always relying on Mukuro for help until she refused his illusions and took to protecting herself. It would seem mostly so she wasn't a burden to him anymore. Her parents didn't really try to break Nagi out of her isolated life even when she was injured saving a cat. Used to the neglect from them she lost any self-worth or meaning to live that she had.

Still a shy girl, she has become a bit more determined and kind towards her friends. Hard-working to please everyone around her mostly Mukuro Sama because of the small infatuation she has with him. That and he did save her life. Chrome is not easily trusting of people the few people who earned are Mukuro, Chikusa and Ken. The boss A.K.A Tsuna is also another one of these people. But when her trust is broken it is not an easy thing to repair.

Introverted along with a lack of confidence don't really make her stand out very much. She picks to stick to herself and only speak out when it seems to be really needed. Shy and avoiding of almost anyone other then Mukuro who she follows like a little lost puppy. Only because she wants to be useful to him and not be the burden Nagi had been to most people.

HISTORY:

Chrome originally born as Nagi was raised as a very antisocial, kept hidden from others child. Her love for animals caused an accident that damaged her organs. The young girl's parents couldn't afford to handle her or maybe they just didn't want to. They put the young girl in the foster care system letting her stay there rather then raise her. It hurt but she didn't smile, or show that she was feeling that. Being abandoned had just been something she was used to. In turn this shattered her fragile trust in people.

The girl passed from home to home mostly because of the hospital trips she had to make. If only to make sure her organs were functioning normally. Slowing healing but it seemed that it might never fully go away. Nagi changed her name of her own free will to Chrome signing every single paper with that name. When questioned she said Nagi had died long ago, there was nothing left of that person.

She met Mukuro Rokudo when she was thirteen only about two years after her accident. He made her feel happy, showed her that she at least had some use. Even if it was only to him as some possible puppet. Chrome didn't mind though she still hardly smiled. Somehow the girl began to improve her health and mood changed if only slightly. They didn't have to ship her off to other homes or any other hospital.

Finally able to go back to middle school she ran into Tsuna and his friends one day when she was walking home from school. She didn't get why but she had a feeling that would not be the last time she saw Tsunayoshi and his guardians. And it really wasn't she was brought into the family as one of the Guardians though Chrome doesn't understand why.

At least through this little group Tsuna has formed she can gain friends, maybe earn some money to help her family. So they don't have to deal with taking care of her constantly.

EXTRAS:

She is the "Mist Guardian" of the Vongola family, using the money she gets if she does get any at all to help her foster family out.
