Brief Description ►

Roy is somewhat average height, he is well built as any military man should be and has frair skin. His hair is short and black, with bangs that slightly hang in his eyes. He is almost never seen with anything less than a clean shaven face and his dark piercing eyes seem to flash when he's angry. He wears his uniform when he's called in for his second job, which is very rarely, but otherwise it's always suits with him. He seems to lean more towards the dark tones, such as black, dark blue, and dark browns.

General Personality ►

Upon first meeting, Roy appears narcissistic and cocky, he is a notorious procrastinator and is also known to be quite the womanizer. He seems to be a bit of a layabout, easily manipulating others into doing his paperwork. This may seem like Roy to most, but in actuality, it's more of a facade for those who don't know him well.

He is a brilliant tactician, well versed in combat theory, covert operations and enemy ensnarement. He is fiercely loyal and his duty seems to be widely set on his friends and subordinates. He is devoted in his duty and cares deeply about those he trusts and would often put their safety above his own. He considers himself a protector of those who don't have the power to protect themselves. Thus adding to his pride, stubbornness and firey temper.

- Almost like Magic, Roy uses specialized gloves so when he snaps it creates a spark, then the circle on his gloves present an abundance of oxygen and hydrogen around a specific area so Roy is able to create fire.

- He is an exceptional rider.

- Roy usually knows almost everything going on at the school due to his information gathering habits.

- His natural charm usually woos women without even trying, this has led to many students leaving love letters on his desk.

Overall History ►

Roy's parents were killed when he was very young, he was adopted by a young woman named Chris Mustang and had a fairly normal childhood.

When Roy turned 18 he joined the military, having learned his special 'alchemy' from all kinds of different science books and through the father of one of his closest friends. He wanted to put it to good use. The boy soared through the ranks, achieving the title of Colonel when he turned 25, and keeping it there for quite some time. Roy was the head of many Top Secret campaigns and was even on the front lines for a few of them.

When things in the military started to get slow, Roy found himself in need of a second source of income, at first he tried being a security advisor, but that didn't go over so well, with great damage expenses being pulled from his pay check. Then he heard about Kingdom Academy and it's unique style of teaching. A few classes required qualified personnel and who better to teach a class on combat than a colonel himself? Once applied, Roy found himself actually enjoying the company of his students and their eagerness and attentiveness. Those who didn't apply themselves, he made it his personal mission to make their life hell until they did. Now, he teaches history, chemistry, horsemanship, and trains students on the side.

He is just as devoted to his students as he is to his subordinates, trying to help each one get something out of his lessons. There are times when a substitute must be called in for him, but more often than not he's there.
