we've stepped right into hell...

Imagine a world where chaos and destruction has become the new reality; each passing moment is a struggle for survival as violence rocks your homeland like waves crashing into a rocky shore. In an effort to stop a series of sudden, violent attacks that began popping up around the United Kingdom, the British Ministry of Magic passed a law in 2192 that stripped vampires and werewolves of most of their rights. From that point forward, they were to be heavily taxed and monitored by the government to ensure their compliance with the Wizarding World's laws. Things took a turn for the worse when these creatures organized themselves into two groups, the Vampire and Werewolf Resistances. What originally started as organizations to petition the government to repeal the laws against them, turned into terrorist factions bent on killing as many people as possible to punish the government. Just when things couldn't get any worse for the Ministry, the Death Eaters reappeared under the leadership of a psychopath named Victoire Beaumont and her twin sister, Valerie. For the next decade, alliances would be forged and splintered, battles would be waged, and thousands of lives would be lost.

Almost a decade later, the Wizarding World is almost unrecognizable. The Death Eaters were defeated and mysteriously disappeared after Victoire Beaumont took her own life during the Battle for Hogwarts in May of 2199. A few months later, former Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and newly-elected Minister of Magic, Dalla Cilda, convinced the Wizengamot to repeal the Werewolf Code of Conduct Laws of 2192. As part of the agreement, Werewolf Resistance leader George Kinsler agreed to take his comrades out of the country to a place where they would no longer pose a threat to the Wizarding World. Not three months afterwards, Spiro Kyriazhs - the infamous leader of the Vampire Resistance - was found dead with a wooden stake driven through his heart. With the decade-long war against the Resistance groups finally over, and the Death Eaters nowhere to be found, it seemed that the Wizarding World of Great Britain would finally enjoy an era of peace.

That's when it happened. In a matter of minutes, historic landmarks such as Big Ben and the London Eye were bombed and the powerful magical enchantments concealing the Wizarding World were broken. Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic were set on fire, and in a matter of hours the death toll had risen into the hundreds. The unthinkable had just happened: the Wizarding World had been exposed. In a matter of hours, every major television network in the area aired footage of a secret society that had been living under their very noses for thousands of years. With the help of modern technology, videos and information about the wizards have been spreading through the Muggle community, despite Ministry efforts to conceal themselves again and distract from their revelation. A few select Muggles, led by Muggleborn witch Annabelle Marlow, are responsible for the majority of this continued exposure: they belong to a group called the Rebellion, who want the wizards forced out of the shadows. Not all Muggles feel the same, and a Cooperative group has formed to help the wizards sink back into anonymity and stay there. And what of the Death Eaters? Two years ago they mysteriously disappeared, and now rumors are starting to circulate that they are planning something terrible.

The Wizarding World is on the brink of another deadly war; only this time, everything they hold dear is about to crumble underneath them. Where will you stand?

... and this is just the latest chapter! Read everything here.
