Much has changed in the two years since Kevin Flynn's death, and the destruction of CLU's regime.

Sam has taken control of ENCOM, and with the help of Alan Bradley and Quorra, he is taking the company in the direction that his father would have wanted. Part of this new direction was the decision to create a new portal into the Tron System located deep within ENCOM Tower itself, making access to and from the System easier than ever, both for Sam and his allies, and the handful of chosen Programs that are permitted to come and go. In addition, ENCOM's top people are working with Quorra to truly come to understand what her unique DNA structure could mean for the world at large, while still keeping her existence secret.

In the midst of all these changes, it was easy for Edward Dillinger Jr.--with the help of a mysterious informant known as "MCTRL_751"--to steal the technology required to access the Tron System.

Severing all ties with ENCOM, Dillinger has settled down in New York and started his own company, F-CON, in an effort to bring ENCOM down. But competing with his former employer in the real world isn't enough, and Dillinger has begun to build a power-base of his own within the Tron System as well. With a growing army of specially created and corrupted Programs, Dillinger is preparing to wage a war against Flynn and ENCOM on both fronts.

To add to the chaos, word of the Tron System has leaked to small pockets of hackers in the real world, and many of them have managed to rig up their own unstable portals into the System...

With war looming on the horizon, will Sam, Quorra, Tron, and their allies be able to stop Dillinger and his army, or will this truly be
