Gemstones work in a similar fashion to materia, however once equipped you keep that Gemstone forever. You can also buy additional Gemstone slots so you can acquire more gemstones. How to train and level up your gemstones is explained in the spell/skill training post.

    Spell/Skill Training


    Basic Requirements

    - Buy the required Gemstone
    - To train your spells/abilities you'll first need to learn all the predecessing spells in Tier one to move to tier two and all the spells in tier two to get to tier three.

    More in depth

    - To fully learn a spell you'll need to do the following
    - 3 threads, one thread for each of the spells in the specified tier (tier 1 you'd have to learn all three of the tier 1 spells before 2, and 2 before 3)
    - 3 posts of training the chosen spell (total of nine for all three in that tier) (This counts only if you're posting with another person)
    - If solo training you'll need three threads but with FIVE posts in them
    - Posts should be around 3 decent paragraphs long
    - If solo training posts should be around 5 decent paragraphs long
    - Just add an extra post for each tier. So Tier one would be 3 threads, 3 posts (5 if you're soloing), 3 paragraphs (5 if you're soloing). Tier 2 would be 3 threads, 4 posts (6 if you're soloing), 3 paragraphs (5 if you're soloing). Tier 3 would be 3 threads, 5 posts (7 if you're soloing), 3 paragraphs (5 if you're soloing)

    Danger Zones


    Notes about DANGER Zones

    Danger Zone battles are random monster battles that occur when a group of monsters attack a particular place. There are two settings for these. CAUTION and DANGER.

    Random Monster battles are something I've always wanted to incorporate in to a site (I've been running sites for about three years now, this one is the best by far ^^). However I couldn't figure out a way to do so. The initial idea was to just throw monsters in to random threads however that wouldn't work because people wouldn't get the choice and if someone didn't have stats it would go badly. So I had to come up with a different way to do it so people could CHOOSE to join. Thus the 'Make it a thread and declare it's up' idea came to mind. Simple, yet effective and it would make things much much easier.

    The words on the boards are simply to state and make clear where the battles are, the words are also linked to the thread that the battle is occurring in. This makes it easier for people to get to that thread since they simply need to click on the word to open it.


    Caution Zone

    If a board says CAUTION (-/5) on it then it's not under attack but there will be an upcoming attack in such a case there will be five slots for people to join the fight.

    Danger Zone

    If a board says DANGER (-/5) on it then it's under attack there will be five slots for people to join the fight. There MAY or MAY NOT be more than one DANGER (-/5) on one board indicating more than one battle going on.

    Rewards for winning can range from Spell Gemstones, Gemstone Slots, Custom Skill Slots, Custom Skill gemstones and even upgrades.

    Battle System


    PVP

    During PVP you can cast one spell OR use a Skill OR use a physical attack in one turn, and there are no stats involved. It's a skill battle so it's determined by both your skill at using the character and also the skill of your writing.

    Remember Staff will check PVP fights to declare who is the winner if neither you nor your opponent can decide.

    Please bear in mind that OP moves such as dodging everything and barely getting hit, or utterly ignoring the post cooldowns on abilities and spells WILL mean you get instantly disqualified and thus your opponent will win.

    Also if you have passive skills? STATE THEM IN BOLD GREEN TEXT AT THE TOP OF YOUR POST IN (BRACKETS) so that it's clear for everyone to see.

    PvM

    For Player VS Monster battles, like fights in the DANGER zones? It will be turn based fighting similar to the style of final fantasy. Read the list below to make sure you're following the battle rules.

    • You can use ONE spell AND ONE skill/ability during a turn.
    • You may use ONE item during a turn.
    • You may combo attacks, however if you go for a 10 hit combo YOU NEED TO DESCRIBE EACH ATTACK. Make sure they're all fluid and roll in to one another. Think about it if someone goes 'He attacked with his sword ten times.' how bad does that look? It doesn't look like they've put any effort in at all.
    • If you're physically attacking? You may only target one monster, however if you have All cast on you, you hit every monster on the field.
    • What you may NOT do, spell, skill AND Attack. You may however use a Skill, Spell AND an item in one turn, you can also use a Skill, Attack Combo and an item in one turn, lastly you may also use a Spell, Attack Combo and an item in one turn.
    • Your physical damage is equal to your strength. For basic stats? A five times combo would be 50 x 5 = 250.
    • DO NOT EXPECT ALL YOUR BLOWS TO CONNECT. REAL BATTLES WOULDN'T WORK LIKE THAT SO DON'T EXPECT THEM TO DO SO HERE!
    • The more physical blows you try to connect? The less likely you are to hit. So if you attempt a x3 combo? You're more likely to hit than if you tried a x6 combo.
    • At the end of each wave all living party members will regain +50% max HP and MP.
    • Posting order doesn't matter.
    • If you're using a skill/spell and a physical attack? you can physically attack one and use your skill/spell on another monster. You can mix an match this, i.e. 1 spell for one monster & 1 skill for another monster. 1 spell for one monsters & attack combo for another monster. 1 skill for one monster & attack combo for another monster.
    • One Wave of Monsters = x1 spell training, x1 keyblade training.
    • STATE AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR BATTLE POST WHAT YOUR CHARACTER HAS DONE IN THE FOLLOWING FORMAT!

    Spell Cast: Name of spell or summon here along with the tier and what it does.
    Skill Used: Name of the skill here along with the tier and what it does.
    Item Used: The item you've used along with what it does.
    Physical Attack Combo: The amount of times your character has attempted to attack physically.

    About Monsters

    • Monsters may have elemental weaknesses, however unless you have the passive ability of SCAN you won't know unless you strike lucky.
    • Monster groups in danger zones are 2 to one person, thus you will fight 10 monsters if you have a full group of 5 people.
    • Monster HP will be the equivalent of all five party members HP divided by the number 5. If everyone has 600 HP then this will be 600 x 5 = 3000 divided by 5 = 600 per each monster. This also goes for monster MP and STR.
    • Monsters may attack use a spell or use a skill ONCE per turn. They CANNOT use items unless they are a boss monster.
    • When defeated monsters will drop a random amount of munny, generally speaking it's 100 - 200 munny in total PER WAVE. So if you get 100 munny then that'd be 10 munny per each monster in a full battle. No the total munny is not split between five people, they EACH receive the full total.
    • Boss monster HP is the entire parties HP added together then X2. STR is the parties STR added and then Divided by 2. MP is the parties MP added and then divided by 2.
    • Danger zone battles will have three waves of monsters followed by a boss battle.


    MVP (Most Valuable Player)

    Too qualify for MVP you must do the following.
    • DO NOT miss your turn in a battle.
    • Anyone is eligible for MVP if they are in battle. It's up to whoever is running the battle as to whom they think is the most valuable player.
    • If you've won MVP for one character? You may not win it for your other character in another battle. In the same instance. I.E. Month one you've won MVP for your OC, you cannot win it in that month for any other character.


    What do you get for being an MVP? Here's the list.
    • x2 Munny
    • 1 Exclusive, custom item that no one else can get UNLESS they have won an MVP.
