Amu has smooth pink hair which she keeps in a ponytail or at least an X clip. She has light brown eyes and looks stoic or detached from others. Amu wears a uniform-like outfit with a tie, rolled up sleeves, a grey skirt, a silver belt, and boots. The tie and the belt are loose, on her left side there are small pins. Her tie and socks are both blue. Her socks goes up to the lower thigh portion. The skirt is very short and her boots have black strings, which goes from the heels to the bottom part of her knees.

General Personality ►
At a first glance Amu is a tough and cool. She tries to be detached from anyone due to inability to talk to others. She tends to be fearless most of the time as long as it doesn't include ghosts. However deep inside she is shy and timid, especially around new people. She is kind and caring towards others but often forgetful, especially with her homework. Most of the time she is responsible with things, trying to keep them safe for others.

However her personality tends to change at times due to her Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, Suu, and Dia. Depending on who she is with or Character changes with her personality. When she changes with Ran she is honest to the point that she will blurt out anything that is related to herself. And is often energetic with the need to run or move. A red heart shaped hairclip is on her when she is with Ran.

When she changes with Miki is she is more level headed and her creativity flows out of her mind. The thing on her mind is to draw whatever catches her eye. She is a bit more harsher and critical when it comes to the arts. She strives to be better with them and instead of being energetic and running all over the place she is focused on one thing. A Blue Spade hairclep is on her when she is with Miki.

When she changes with Suu she is more homely. She likes to clean and cook food for her friends. She is alot more girlier than normal, giggling while cooking or cleaning. She loves to put on a white apron and place her hair in a ponytail. A green Clover hairclip is on her when she is with Suu.

When she changes with Dia she becomes more radiant. She can see the good and bad on others, though often she is wrong or at least not on the mark. Unlike the guardian herself, who can sense the shine on others. She smiles and has inner peace, with the only intention is to make others happy. A yellow Diamond is on her when she is with Dia.

Overall History ►
Amu was a normal school girl, she had problems communicating with others. She had this persona that stuck to her like glue, no matter what she did she was always seen as "cool and spicy". Amu just ignored the rumors that students spread around the school.

One night, she became tired of everybody viewing her outside character and made a wish to be someone other than herself. The next morning, she finds three odd looking eggs on her bed. The eggs hatch one after another and give birth to her Guardian Characters, Ran, Miki, and Suu; later, a fourth Guardian Character named Dia.

She was given a item called the Humpty Lock, with it she became part of the student council in her old school. She was the joker and with it she was able to use her inner abilities to her fullest. She fought against Easter and their ambition to collect X-eggs and the Embryo.

One day her mother received a letter to transfer due to her job as magazine editor. Amu, had to move to a new school. Having no other choice but to accept the change, as much as she didn't want to she went along with it. She was depressed that she had to say goodbye to her old friends. Now she is at the Academy, as a first year. She wonders if she can go back to her old school and her old friends while Ran, Miki, Suu, and Dia try to cheer her on.
